SOLO, DUO, TRIO OR QUARTET - YOU CHOOSEFynbos ensemble offers flexible performance options to suit the requirements and size of any event and budget
The core ensemble which consists of flute, violin, viola and cello, can be downsized or even upsized depending on the requirements of the event. Our repertoire is adaptable for trio (3-piece) and duo (2-piece), while we are also able to double up parts in the case of larger performances (eg. an octet or even a small chamber ensemble). We can also assist with solo performances (flute, violin or cello).
QUARTET
Flute, Violin, Viola and Cello
A string quartet with a difference! Our unique ensemble replaces the traditional first violin with a flute, creating a rich, symphonic sound. This “flute quartet” brings new life to the classical string quartet repertoire while greatly expanding musical possibilities. From traditional works to symphonic adaptations, Jazz, tango, and Latin pieces, our quartet offers a versatile and captivating performance.
We also offer a traditional string quartet with two violins, viola, and cello, perfect for delivering timeless elegance.

TRIO
Flute, Violin or Viola and Cello
